PURPLE SWAMPHEN IN SOUTH MADRID
The Purple Swamphen (Porphyrio porphyrio) es a curious south-iberian gallinulebird which lives in some places in Madrid province, mainly around wetlands where we could see also juveniles.
El Calamón Común (Porphyrio porphyrio) es una curiosa gallinacea principalmente sur-ibérica que vive en algunas zonas de la Comunidad de Madrid, mayoritariamente en humedales donde se pueden ver incluso juveniles.
Is more easy to see than many people may think, if you´d like to watch this majestic bird, it´s possible to see during sunrise or nigthfall(with a really nice blue colour).
